Description Abilene Mobile Vet Center (MVC). Used for outreach in Rural communities covering 86 Counties in Texas and Deployable for declared natural disasters providing outreach and VA assistance to Veterans and their families in time of need.

Free and confidential. Vet Center counseling costs nothing. You do not need to be enrolled in VA health care, and you do not need a VA disability rating. Vet Centers are not hospitals or clinics — they are community offices, and the setting is informal.

Who can be seen at a Vet Center — including spouses, parents and other family members, and bereavement counseling. Not sure you qualify? Call and ask; VA staff look for reasons to qualify people rather than turn them away.
