This site does not publish its own hours. Call Macomb County Vet Center at 586-412-0107 and ask:

Which days is a counselor at this site?
Do I need an appointment, or can I walk in?
Can a family member come with me, or come instead of me?

Free and confidential. Vet Center counseling costs nothing. You do not need to be enrolled in VA health care, and you do not need a VA disability rating. Vet Centers are not hospitals or clinics — they are community offices, and the setting is informal.

Who can be seen at a Vet Center — including spouses, parents and other family members, and bereavement counseling. Not sure you qualify? Call and ask; VA staff look for reasons to qualify people rather than turn them away.

Caring for a veteran? The VA Caregiver Support Line is 855-260-3274. It is a different program from the Vet Center, and caregivers can call it directly.
